Juggling

Juggling two things is difficult. Three things is even more difficult. More than three? Four things? Is it even possible? Well, we always have to juggle between things. You may not notice but it is true.. between work and fun, between groups of friends, him and work, work and family, friends and family and the list goes on. You think that you can manage but reality is you can't, or you almost can't. I always have this problem. Now see, I love everything around me, everyone around me and everything that is happening to me.. but it gives me a hectic life. I don't have my 'me' time, where I could just be alone, ponder on life and things I did, pamper myself and do my work on my free will. I do sometimes have this 'me' time but I want it more than just often. Trust me, I love the position I am now, great family, great friends, great life. I've managed to juggle pretty good I tell you :P It is difficult to just squeeze in the 'me' time in my hectic life. Not being able to say No is really not helping either! I should make that my new year's resolution yes? hehe.

There are things and people that I've probably missed, forgotten, neglected then or recently and I am sincerely sorry. I will try to be more careful when I juggle next time :)

Heathcliff

You might remember him from 10 things I hate about you, or his more recent film Brokeback Mountain. Which ever it is, he has proven that he is talented and ofcourse, undeniably gorgeous.

Heath Ledger was born in Perth, Australia. I like the fact that his name was taken from a character from Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights - 'Heathcliff'. From what I can remember, in Wuthering Heights, Heathcliff died a tragic death. He resented his life, lived in anger and bitterness. He was deprived of love, separated from the only love of his life. I guess you can understand the bitterness he had towards the world and everyone around him. The love of his life married another man whom he loathed to death. He engaged himself in a ruthless vendetta to destroy not only his enemies but their heirs.

Kesian eh c Heath Ledger ah. I still can't believe that he's dead. Life is sure full of (unpleasant) surprises.

karing leher

'Kenapa ikan di laut inda karing leher?'

'pasal banyak air!'

'bukan....'

'apatah?'

'ikan ada leher kan?!'

HAHAHAHA! i got this one from one of my students. lol!

another one,

'kalau gajah naik pokok, apa yang pacah dulu?'

'errrr.... *trying to think of an answer*.. inda tau, apa yang pacah?'

'PACAH REKOD DUNIA LAH'

hahaha!

Seriously, this kind of question makes you doubt your intellegence sometimes, and in my situation, my place as their teacher. They seem to know a lot more than me! :p

irony

An issue was raised today at school. We were talking about 'gala nights', or fancier 'prom night'. We were discussing to what extent a teacher should get involved in the matter. Most came to the conclusion that they do not ever want to get involved in this matter. I, however, have no idea. It is so weird now that I have to rethink this over in the eyes of a teacher. I used to think that having a 'prom' at the end of the year WAS everything. It is something students look forward to at the end of their school year. It marks the end of the school year, the beginning of a new journey. It is something to reminisce back to when we're older.

Ofcourse it is a popularity contest. You cannot deny that. The best dressed wins, the prettiest of the bunch wears the crown, the handsome-est gets the attention of all the girls.. y'know, the cliches. It is fun indeed. Students get all worked up over a dress, a tux, the hair, the makeup. Such fun. Come the awaited night, everyone turned up, all glammed up, looking gorgeous and fine. Then comes the food, the dancing, the winners. Everyone's happy, enjoying what they think is the most glamorous night of their life.

So what's there not to like?

Reality. Not every human being is passive, who listens to what you're saying and follows every rule. There will always be a bunch of 'black sheep' amongst the white crowd and spoils everything. Such pity.

Back then I was all around promoting the prom night, literally begging for friends to come to our prom, promising them great fun. But now, I will be the one to discourage them from going. Irony irony.

If I can just find a way to herd those strayed sheep back to the right fold.

the resolution

I've been trying to find the right mood (and time) to start blogging again but to my dismay. I don't seem to know what to blog about now and when I do, I'm lacking the time to do it.

sigh.

Oo yes, balum jua lambat kan ni? hehe HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! New year means a new beginning? Maybe. Perhaps for some people, but others just have to carry on with whatever they had going on from last year. Nothing new about it. New year means new resolution? Definitely. :D I think it's good to have a plan, a direction in life.

I asked my students to write down some of their new year resolutions. Most of them are adamant on sticking to a healthy diet ie lose some weight, others intend on not skipping classes, and one has a wishful thinking of getting FOUR girlfriends. haha! tehibur ku eh. Wishing him all the luck in the world! I wonder if I should ask them to make a plan on how they can achieve those resolutions and a checklist... That should be interesting... hahaha!

AIM: 4 GIRLFRIENDS

OBJECTIVES: *some selfish comments*

METHODS:

places to go to -- gadong mall, qlap mall, at school, tuition school, at urang bebadak/kawin etc

pick up lines -- *all cliches*

May - 2 gfs

August - 2 gfs and 1 'SCANDAL' and 1 'FLING'

November - back to 1 gf

December - NONE

hahaha. seriously.. good luck to this guy! :p

instant gratification

Do you know the really sucky thing about daily paid jobs? I do! And how I despise it!

I like the idea of instant gratification. Just simply because I don't like waiting. I want what I want now, not later. However, with the situation I'm currently in, I have no other option nor am I in the position to argue. This whining is going to go on for approximately one year so bear with me.

I want my cuti. sigh. I shall not dwell on this any further.. I might get into trouble for it.

There, my first public whine after a long time. I will be back for more

the working me

Hi everyone! :D It has been a very very long time.

I am now a working lady. Everyday, I am faced with new challenges, expected to impart wisdom to others, and in some ways, expected to help in the business of creating a well-behaved and educated human being. This task is ofcourse challenging for I have to deal with oh-so-many types of personality. But, so far, it has been one great and interesting experience but ofcourse this is just the beginning :p. Be prepared to hear (or read) me whine and whine about the workload, the markings and the stressful life of being a teacher :p :p

I am here to stay so welcomed me! :D Sorry for I have been absent for a really really long time, but hey, here I am!

Will be back for more, soon.

Hiatus... over

Hiatus is over. I'm back. Been away for a while. I was in london this whole time, spending time with friends and not forgetting spending my non-existent money. London has this thing with taking people's money. London is good at it. Darn. I fell for it yet again. Ah well.

Anyhoo, I'm back to blogging. Banyak cerita plang but I don't know where to start. There were a lot of things happening in London last week, ie the wimbledon, JT's concert on sunday and tour de france and not forgetting, the putting up of SALES signs everywhere in London. I told u a LOT of things. I will not bore you with details of my shopping trips et cetera. :p Go to London and find out for yourself. I'm telling you, sale brabis!

I will put up pictures soon for y'all to have a look at. Oh and I have to go now. It's 14:46 and err I haven't taken my shower. Hey don't judge me. Nada kan buat bah yatah.. :p I will be back yes? See ya! xxx

What can you see through a green glass door?

I can see the floor but I can't see the carpet.

This is a word game, and a mind-puzzling one. You have to understand the concept to be able to answer. After trying to answer a million time, I finally see the connection but not the logic. :p

We spent an hour before someone came out with an idea of how the game works, and baru tah slowly spread out among us. Paning kepala memikir! hehe. Bah have a try. :)

p/s: If you know how this game works, don't tell. just play along! :D

if miracles could happen

seven days. SEVEN DAYS. my final results will be out in 7 days. I'm excited and at the same time scared. Perhaps scared is not the exact word I should use to express this feeling... i'm just worried for the final outcome. I have to admit that I didn't really give it my all throughout my final year. I was supposed to go all out! I only realised that towards the end of the year, where I was only left with three courseworks to do to make a change. What's three courseworks compared to the amount of work did and submitted throughout the year. It's merely 50%. Sigh. It's too late to do anything at this point, I could only hope and pray for some miracles to happen.

I received two important and very very happy phone calls today. Two of my best best friends got their results today. They were literally screaming telling me their results. It was really flattering that they chose to share the news with me FIRST. hehe! I'm very proud of those two. Well done! :D

With people getting their results and all, I think this is definitely going to be the longest 7 days of my entire life.

Best saturday night so far!

debak debuk ku eh!!! :s why? my results are coming out soon!!! and yes it is brijap! what makes it more brijap is that most people tau their results sudah and managed to get good results and therefore pressure is on me! *sigh* I am just going to hope for the best. amin.

Congrats to those who graduated. All the hard work has finally paid off :D congrats again!

On the topic of graduation, I also want to congratulate the boipren for his graduation last saturday. I keep saying this to everyone, but it was such an emotional thing. It is the second best moment of my life. The first best moment ofcourse is going to be my graduation :p *amin*

I was glad I could be there for his graduation to witness the glorious ceremony taking place. To watch him go on that stage and receive his award, i was overcome with the greatest emotion. I am proud of him, and of everyone. And now I can't wait for my very own graduation ceremony. And make people around me proud.

The proceedings started with ofcourse capturing the moment on films. The students were lined up neatly, some standing and others sitting, and smiling all so proudly. There were happy tears and honest laughters. Next was the speeches (the moment we all dreaded). However on that day, there weren't all bad. hehe. After all the talkings was the certificate presentation, which i think was the highlight of the event. I love seeing all those people lined up on one side of the hall, anxiously waiting for their names to be called out on stage. I was trying hard to hold in my tears. I told you it was such an emotional thing! For each and every person that walked on that stage, I could see the proud faces of their parents. For each and every person who walked on that stage, I could see their faces sparkled once their names were called out. It was all a pleasant sight, and I wouldn't trade the experience with anything.

Next, food! The dinner was erm.. alright. It wasn't one of the best but it was okay. But I absolutely love the dessert! We all had a slice of a chocolate cheesecake. It was delicious! A bit too sweet but it was all good. :D

After dinner was served, and desserts were eaten impatiently, the event came to the end. The final proceeding was, as usual, loud music.. and ofcourse dancing. We all did a little bit of dancing to celebrate the moment. We finally called it a day at around 11 and took the taxi home.

A late night shot

So that's how I spent my saturday night last week. The best saturday night so far! :D

To breathe and love are not as easy,
Although for some people they came in handy,
Others struggle to find not two but one,
But in dismay they looked and found.

Some people see love at first glance
Others stare but could not yet find
Some should turn and look behind
It might've been there during all those whines.

Selfishness is human's best companion
It stands by you through thick and rain
It is the best and worst creation
For without it you are no one.

Hiiii!!! =))

I will update soon! Been pretty busy lately, what with packing and other stuffs (note: other stuffs include sleeping at 4 am and waking up really late, spending the day in bed too lazy to do anything, ignoring the growls of the stomach because i'm too lazy to cook et cetera). I will be updating my blog really soon!! I promise. hehe. I don't want to lose my faithful readers... =))

I will also be uploading pictures from the barbecue in my backyard on friday. Although, there aren't many photos of me unless you count photos of my head from the back or only half of my body is in the picture, also from the back, as a picture of me! :p Nonetheless, it was a fun day and hard work too. Stay tune for pictures people!

Be back soon!

So I'm back in Bristol. Actually I was here since..tuesday? and and I brought Yani along =) I don't think I can bear staying at home all alone! Boredom can kill you know. Oh oh ofcourse, it's dangerous too. hehe. Anyway, what has been happening? Nothing much. We haven't been able to stop consuming food since the day we got here! we tried to stop, but it's a helpless case. And therefore we stopped trying. It's not everyday we get to just sit around and just eat. We decided to savour the moment while it lasts. :D

We're having a barbecue tomorrow! Yes we are. finally. Been waiting to have a barbecue since forever! And the day has come. Can't wait to eat food and more food tomorrow. If you happen to be in Bristol, do come around. :D Too bad the boipren can't be here. (to boipren: I won't have too much fun I promise :p) It would've been more fun if he could make it. :( Anyway... Good luck for your assessment tomorrow!! :D You, ofcourse, can do it.

On a different note, and a sad one, I'm moving out of the house next week. My heart aches just thinking about it. Time flies so fast! I still can't believe that I've done with uni. It feels surreal. It definitely does. Well that is how life works. There is no turning back, you can only look back to the past and reminisce. You can't mend what's broken, only learn from it. You can't change what happened, only regret, for everything happens for a reason. Life's hard, and that's the only way it should be. You won't learn anything if life's easy. Fact.

Sigh! Depressing!

Stop! Stop being depressed. Makan coklet, and minum tango apple, and eat mint chocolate icecream, and makan pisang, and drink a lot of water.

oh oh and makan nasi. You need carbs. and also fats.
So we can be plump together!!!! :D:D:D

My 50th blog. =D I don't do too bad. I thought I would've lost interest to blog after like the 10th entry. Fortunately I haven't, and I'm glad. It is one of the easiest ways to express thoughts and feelings, especially when no one is around to waste their time on you. I haven't been that much depressed since I started blogging (except during my dissertation and assignment period but I was too busy then to blog on my depression hehe), thus there hasn't been what you call 'emosi' entry to date. Soon perhaps? Just keep reading. :)

I went out on saturday (yes elaun baru keluar bah) and what better way than to go on a shopping spree?? Eseh. No no, I didn't go mad on shopping on saturday. I just bought a pair of new jeans. It's beautiful! I'm in love with it instantly! It fit me perfectly, which was very rare, in accordance to my height. Tapiiiiiiii this one is just perfect! The length, the width, the cutting, the material, everything. I may be exaggerating to a certain extent but you will understand if you know me! haha. I am indeed vertically challenged (not proud of it). Payah nyamu kan mencari jeans. That is why I am very keen in sharing this with you! Di mana nah ku membali? Dorothy Perkins arah the petite section, obviously. This shop is such a life saver. :D hehe. So kepada sesiapa yang mempunyai height yang seperti saya can check out this store. Just make sure you don't buy the same jeans! :p

So many of you are now officially done with exams thus the uni life. Most of you are probably constantly breathing sighs of relief. hehe. well I am! However, I do find these few weeks are going to be very very difficult. Why? The results are just, really, around the corner. I don't think I can sleep well in these few weeks! This is one of the reasons why I prefer exams than assignments. Personally, I prefer sitting for exams than spending weeks doing research for assignments. Firstly is because assignments are time consuming, and I think the markers are expecting more from you compare to exams. Secondly, usually in exams you will know if you did well (or not) but not assignments. I can never tell if the assignments I did were ok or otherwise. It's really frustrating that way. Some find assignments are better than exams because you can do research and more research and refer to you tutors and such. I dunno. It's just personal I guess. I didn't have any exams recently, only a lot of assignments. So you can imagine my feelings right at this moment. Debak-debuk. I can only tawakal.

One month till the results. Good Luck everyone!! :D

Sooo… I have been unfaithful to my humble blog. Well not exactly unfaithful, rather neglected it for quite awhile. And this should not have happened! I am free, free as a bird I often refer it to, with all the time in the world, without the slightest care for anything in particular… atleast not in the mean time. So the question is why? Why have I not been spending my time writing something, just anything. It is because my life, despite my infinite free time, has become dull!!! Thus effectively makes my brain dominantly quiscent. Therefore, nada kan di cerita kan. Thus this happens. Kesian ah? Hehe. But next week should be ok, I have a barbecue to look forward to! :D

Anyway…..

I have been thinking……. Of how much I miss math! I really do. I was good in math! It was the one thing I was good at, then. And I mean the only one thing. I have noooo idea how I manage to stray away from the ‘calculation/calculating’ path. And now I will be spending the rest of my life doing English Literature, a language base subject with no calculation involved whatsoever. It’s not that I don’t like Literature, I really do. 'Tis my passion. I just miss how solving a math problem could give me the satisfaction I don’t think I could ever achieve with writing up an essay. Being able to complete an essay could undoubtedly fill you with a joyous emotion and the greatest satisfaction, however in quite a different way compare to solving a math equation. These feelings are not contraries only different. These two fields are clearcutly erm..different and not just because one needs a calculator and the other prefers a dictionary. It’s much more than that. indistinguishable. inexplainable.

So why can't I do both? Simple. I simply can't. It is like, a doctor can't be an engineer. or a lawyer can't be a dentist. Some may can (although highly unlikely), but most of us (admit it) can only do so much. I guess this agrees with the notion nobodyis perfect. :D

So what intrigued this feeling? The boipren (not in a blaming kinda way) Hehe. He’s been busy with assignments and whatnot. And the assignment he’s attempting to do now is math-like (or is it math? hehe). Well it involves calculations and formulas and you know, those things. Yatah! I can only sit and watch while he does all the calculating, and thinking, and more calculations. It’s envious! Jeles lah. Sigh.

There you go. My long due entry. :p atu saja dulu ah. Will try to update this thing more often :D hehe taa~

Calling Eng. Lit students

Dear fellow English Literature students,

I am selling most of my course books with reason, I want to skip the hassle of bringing all the books to Brunei. :D Imagine the space these books will take up! So if anybody is interested, do tell.

My modules were;

  • Children's Fantasy Fiction
  • Gender, Sexuality and Writing
  • The Romantic Period, 1789-1832

I could probably throw in my notes too, if I could find them. I am usually organised, I assure you. Tapi I just did my assignments and now my notes are all over the place. :p

The books are really really interesting especially for Gender, Sexuality and Writing. This module covers books from the time of Oscar Wilde (Salome) to the comtemporary ie Jackie Kay (Trumpet). For Children's Fantasy Fiction, The Hobbit, Northern Lights and Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone are some of the books. For those who love poetry and the work of Jane Austen would probably love the Romantic Period. I studied Austen's Sense and Sensibility, Wollstonecraft's A short residence in Sweden, Norway & Denmark and I read a lot, and I mean a lot, of poems (some I hate I must admit, but most are undeniably beautiful arts). But unfortunately, I will not be selling my collection of poetry. Yang prose saja ah. :)

Interested? You should be. These books are amazing!

Some might think it is too early to start thinking of reading for the next academic year. But I promise you, you will not regret doing your summer reading! So.. what are you waiting for? Bali tah! :D

Email me at memie1911@hotmail.com

or simply, send me a message here!

Oh oh, I am selling these books at a very reasonable price. Approach me for the quotation :D cheers!

Sincerely,
Memie.

7 minute dinner

Yes I know, I have all the time in the world but laziness ruled over me. lol. Anyway, i just had my dinner and thought i'd share what I had.

It is Morrison's creamy cheese pasta! Yes, I had this for dinner. Malas bah memasak. To cook this, it takes only 7 minutes ( well more like 10-12 minutes from experience ) of your time!!! Not everyone is keen on spending hours in the kitchen just to cook a dinner for one. Well certainly not me. Therefore, this is one of the best solutions. (Besides Indomee ofcourse hehe) :p

Anyway, you need 100ml of milk, 30ml of water and 25g of butter. Simmer these until pasta is cooked. And...voila! you have yourself a creamy cheese pasta! :D

Cheese lovers would loooove this. So if this appeals to you, go to the nearest Morrison store and buy yourself one! :D It is cheap, fast and yummy!

We have a winner!

SPOILER ALERT!!!!

So you've been warned. hehe. Anyway, the top 3 as you know are Jaslene, Natasha and Renee. I find only two of them are good and have 'the package' to be a top model, Jaslene and Renee. So I might be biased in my evaluation, but what the heck. Unfortunately, Renee didn't make it to the top 2. The judges all agreed that Renee looks older than the other two girls and they need a fresher look to be the winner, and thus she was eliminated.

"Apparently I look old?" she tells the camera. "OK, that's fine. I would rather have wisdom in my eyes and knowledge in my head than just be blank and stupid and not have anything there."

I agreed with her but this is the fashion industry and beauty and presentation are all that matter. Too bad. Ah well. So that leaves us with Jaslene and Natasha. Natasha, I don't think she is pretty, although some find she is. She doesn't have the look and qualities to be a model, let alone to be the winner of antm. Talking about looks, she doesn't have a neck! I am serious! She doesn't have that long, sexy neck that girls would die for. That's what modelling is all about right? To have features that are the envy of everyone.

Next is Jaslene. I don't think she is drop-dead gorgeous, but she is definitely better than Natasha. I started watching this cycle with hatred and annoyance for her. But things changed. hehe. Enough said. Now lets have a look at the pictures from the season finale.

And the winner is

Yes everyone, Jaslene won. And I'm glad she did. Most would agree with me, especially those Latinas. So apa lagi? Anything is possible. Even a Latina can win the America's Next Top Model. Inda jua racist. :p Mun mau, you can have a try for the next cycle. I'll vote for you. :D But ofcourse, you have to be an American.

history repeats itself, sometimes.

It is weird how you can be so affected by the past, whether it is your past or others. Yes history, the past, memory, whatever it is you prefer to call it, will affect your life whether you like it or not. I have to again emphasise that this past does not necessarily be yours, it can be somebody else's.

Some say history will not repeat itself. But you can never be too sure. If history is told over and over again, it may get 'repeated' although not in the same manner but it is possible, and sometimes inevitable. If history is not meant to be 'repeated' then why it is told and retold? Some may say it is so people learn from the past. But that is too vast a generalisation. Have you heard about Judith Butler's theory on performance as a matter of imitation? It is something like that. When you hear, you learn. When you learn, you avoid - or some cases, you follow. That's just how it is.

Unpleasant memories from the past can eat you up and kill you from inside. Rage, anger, mistrust. And jealousy. So how do you let go? There's never a right time.

Just a passing thought.

this is just what i need

I needed a hobby to make worth of my free times and I found one. I am now officially hooked on Desperate Housewives I even neglect my own boipren. Ok that wasn't true. hehe. I am just exaggerating obviously, but you get me right? It is an obsession baby, crazy obsession.

So I'm going to watch another episode of DH now. Just thought I'd let you know that I'm alive and kicking, or erm, more like sitting and watching, but yea. You get the idea. :D

Orite friends, i'll leave you with your revisions. We'll talk soon aight. ciao.

I miss having a perempuan housemate. (Yes you fifah) I do!!! I am currently living with THREE guys and I'm lonely. It ain't the same. haha. kesian jua. well it's true. it's very different. I can't go to anyone's room without having to knock first. I can't just go to anyone's room and expect to have a chat about NOTHING. I can't expect to go to a room with things I'm familiar with aka a huge mirror or a hairbrush, chocolates or crisps. I can't go browsing on friendster with someone for hours without having to look for pretty girls. I don't have anyone to cook with. I don't have anyone to eat with in the middle of the night because we didn't eat anything the whole day, simply because we were too lazy to cook. I don't have anyone to have that girly chat on random nights. I don't have anyone to hear me whine because I just had a silly fight with the boipren (no offence to the boipren :p) The point is, having a perempuan housemate is the best! :( Yes to my lovely exhousemate, I MISS YOU TERRIBLY! I blame you for being such a great housemate that I still can't get over you! sob sob. Love you babe. xxx

Yes saya marah. why? Because my internet connection is sooooo bloody slow!!! Wireless thats why its slower. Ugh. It has been like this since forever and I can't take it anymore. And now aku pakai cable. It's better plang but still not that fast. How annoying! SIGHHHHH! I can't even download stuffs cos it is going to take ages to finish. If I can't download, what am i supposed to do with my free time??? Nada tia kan ku liat. If this using-cable thing works aka it makes my downloading faster, I'm going to buy me one. So I will stop whining and complaining and cursing.

Today is the first day I don't have to think about work, the whole day. Well it began yesterday but I didn't have time to really think about how free I am because I was out yesterday. Yes, out. Out celebrating aka shopping. hehe. Didn't get much as I can't obviously. It is the middle of the month. I have to start thinking on how to manage my money. It keeps flowing out and I don't even know what I spent it on! Not good. So together we try. :D Buy less, more money. That's how it's supposed to be right? hehe.

oh oh I did something berhasil today. I cleaned up my room. It was such a mess! I spent a few good hours just to clean up my COUCH. yes my couch. It was covered with my stuffs sampai I couldn't even see the couch. Next, I need to do my laundry. Lastly, GET FOOD! I need to buy proper food, pronto. Kebuluran sudah. hehe.

Orite kids, night night. see u again. xxx

first impression isn't always right

So I have recovered... from the shock of finishing my work. lol. inda bah.. it feels like it has been awhile that I have not been blogging, although it was only for a few days. So two entries a day? Why not~ :p

Anyway... lets talk.

Some say first impression matters. Some would say it doesn't. I used to think that first impression matters ALOT! but I am beginning to think that it is not.. and I think it should not matter at all. Yes ofcourse when it is the first time you meet the person, you will soon judge them by what you see. It is inevitable. It is either you like or despise the person. I do it too, all the time. But in the past few occurrences, I have learned that first impression isn't always right. And we should begin to learn to give another chance or even two.

Lets take an example from the America's Next Top Model :p I love this show! Anyway, I am currently on cycle 8. It is down to three finalists now!! iski ku! hehe. So when I started watching antm cycle 8, I absolutely HATE Jaslene and after a few weeks of the show, I began to despise the sight of Renee. They were horrible! I thought they were arrogant, selfish, self-centred and so full of themselves. They back-stabbed each other and the rest of the models. But now, I am beginning to... well, like them. From watching the show, I can see that ALL of them were in fact horrible people, in a sense that they were all self-centred and arrogant. So I guess it is a model thingy. hehe. Perhaps they were told to be that way, so they would look more confident (?). Perhaps. But whatever the reason was, they have changed and in a very good way. And now I like them. :D

My point, after much rambling, is that I believe everyone is capable of change. And that they can change only if we give them a chance.

Here are some pictures of Jaslene and Renee. :D

JASLENE

RENEE

Siuk nyamu America's Next Top Model ani. hehe. And since I am now free from any work, I will be catching up on tv shows I have missed such as desperate housewives etc. I have an unlimited free time. (Pardon me for bringing this topic up again and again. I guess I am still not over it :p)

Finally!

Witty rambling

Why do I find it so difficult to do this one essay? This one last essay? I bet I am not the only one who feels this way. No matter if it is the last essay or the last exam, you tend to take it lightly. Maybe this is human nature. We tend to think ahead of ourselves. Certain times it is good as it helps you think and plan for the future, but other times, it aint gonna do you no good. Why? Because you'll be living in a denial! The exam hasn't finished my dear friend. You are almost done, but not quite yet. I think the word 'almost' is significant, not just in this sense, but many other. 'Almost' means you came close to get it, but didn't. You failed to get it. 'Almost' means if you put just a little extra effort, you will get it. So why do we always neglect what's important to us? I don't know. Is it because we are careless? Could be. We 'accidently' neglect what's important to us. Make sense. But if we just be a little bit more careful, we wouldn't have to deal with the consequences of our negligence. Right? That's our own fault. Your own fault. We are not perfect you say? Stop making excuses.

Biology is destiny. Do you agree? This statement could be true or otherwise. If biology is destiny, ie if a woman is born to be feminine and man to be masculine, how do you explain masculine women and effeminate men? Consequently, the traditional roles of men and women are transgressed because of these reversal roles. Men take the position of women and vice versa. Therefore, biology does not determine the future of a person. Yes?

And how do you explain transvestites? Are they cross-dressing for fun or is it because they are comfortable dressing up as the opposite sex? Or is it an innate thing? They want to cross-dress because they can identify themselves wearing those clothing, even if that means they are violating the norm. So biology can't be destiny, can it?

And how about homosexual relationships? Biology says heterosexual relationship is 'normal'. So how do you explain lesbians and gays? Are they abnormal because of their sexual preferences? If so, why are they abnormal? Perhaps this predefined ideology has changed. Perhaps it is considered as normal now to have member of the same sex as your partner. So that means biology is not destiny, rather culture defines your destiny.

It is all very confusing and ofcourse it is hard to tell which one is the right and the wrong answer. And that makes it a bit more difficult, don't you think?

I finally changed my background! That took me awhile. I spent almost three hours in trying to find a suitable theme to use. hehe. And you say this is suitable?

First of all, it's blue. Yes I do realise that. Ive always used combinations of pink, white and black for my background colour, be it for friendster or multiply. And? I got tired of it. Not that I got tired of these colours. I got tired of being so predictable. So I decided to try something new. Therefore... I chose this theme! It's blue! :D lets see how long I can stand using this one. hehe.

Two down, one to go.

I have just handed in two of my essays and now I am left with one. I should be excited that I am almost done with all the work right? Unfortunately Im not. I can't seem to finish this one essay for an unknown reason. I have been like this the whole day. Demotivated. And it sucks.

The weather wasn't nice today. It was gloomy and cold. It's good to have a friend who own a car who can pick you up during days like this. If you have friends who own a car, use them wisely. hehe. So I went to uni with a friend (and she has a car! bagus) and she came to pick me up because I was saying how it was raining and all and that I might not be able to go meet up with her at uni. Suka ku paham ia hint ku. hehe. And we spent the afternoon in the library doing the research on this last essay. I am literally out of words to write for my essay! Wish me luck people for I need them.

Oh this post is also dedicated to c zuraime as today is his (errm 22?) birthday!! :D Happy birthday zrme!!! Too bad I'm not there to memeriah kan suasana and to eat the food. I heard banyak brabis makanan kamu. Rugi tah ku tu. hehe. inda papa, next time I'm there, I'll be sure to minta blanja. You with me yan? :p bah wish you all the best! :D

Bah kamu, I should sleep now. It's 4am. I will write a better post next time. This one is crap. (Except pasal c zrme punya birthday ofcourse hehe) okeh. Adios.

p/s: Good luck to those who are having exams! Berusaha! :p xxx

A birthday shoutout to housemate ku c khalid!! :D He's not in at the moment, enjoying his time in Cardiff :p Happy Birthday liiiiiiiiiiid!! baik aku ani, bagi ko testi, msg, arah msn and now in my blog! I'm not asking anything much in return, just a meal at Boujon (an Indian restaurant 7 minute walk from our dwelling :p). Don't forget or eksen2 lupa cos I won't and I will keep nagging you. haha!

Anyhoooooooo, aku stress. Yes I am. Another essay due in 6 days. Gah! Its endless!

Bah i'm going to get back to my work. I have to prove that biology is destiny (or otherwise), that biology is socially constructed, that gender is a myth, that gender is a performance etc all in one essay. Interesting you say? Try writing an essay on it.

Happy birthday lagi to Khalid :D

Three packets of Nescafe and a picture frame

I came across something serious yet funny. hehe.

I was reading news from brudirect.com and one article managed to attract my attention. 'Teenage cros-dressers detained in capital.' After reading the article, I found the title was misleading. I was eagerly reading through the article but to my dissapointment, the author only managed to write a paragraph on the mentioned topic and continued with random bits of robbery cases and other illegal activities. Anyway, I read the entire article and found some facts were a bit.. funny.

"Items reported missing were a water pump, a wire and welding socket, a water tank, two mobile phones, two gas cylinders, an identity card, cash totaling $193, a TV set, a DVD, purse, important documents, 12 gold bracelets and three packets of Nescafe."

The robbers nowadays aren't choosy. They take what they see and items that are within reach, I assume. hehe.

"Five house break-ins and thefts were recorded in a store house in Kg Jangsak, Perpindahan Lambak Kanan, Jln Maulana in Belait, Telanai Apartment and in Lambak Kiri. Items reported lost were a radiator, an electrical fuse, air con starter, glass table, stove and a picture frame."

So this picture frame, is there actually a picture in the frame? Or the robber left the picture and just took the frame? If he/she took the picture AND the frame, then a possible suspect is an ex-lover. He/she might still hold a grudge over the past relationship. :p

Calie eh.

So here I am still up in the middle of the night working on the essays. It was even worse the other day when I had to stay up till 430am to finish up one essay (which I failed to do, I have 900 words more to write) and woken up with huge eyebags macam panda. I am really on the verge of a breakdown :s But I have to keep the spirits high and finished 'em all! yes? mare kita bersemangat!! yea!

Oh oh C Dafi keluaaaaaaaaaaar!!! Horrorrrrrrrrrr!!! I know I know he's not the best singer but he's got good personality and cute too :( I like him. I was really sure he would be in the finals!! Ceh! That was so unexpected.

Lalalaalalaalalalalala~~

Marah lah tu. (:p)

Despite all the works that I have going on right now, I will always have to go out and watch a movie. :D You do too right? And today, me, the other half and some friends went to watch Spiderman 3!! :D So how was it? Well it was ok, the action started a bit late but then again thats how movies like this have always been right? They build up the suspence and save the actions at the very last minutes. True? hehe Eeeermmm... I'm not good in giving reviews on movies so I'll just skip this one too :P But I know it was a good movie (I didn't fall asleep or whine the entire movie and pray for it to end right then) :p It's worth the 6 pounds.

Oh I will post up some pictures from the weekend soon. Bah orite, I better get back to my work. I don't want to stay up till 430 again today. Babai~

I don't wanna do this anymore~ I don't wanna be the reason why~

hehe. I just had to do that. Si Rihanna menyanyi di background while I'm writing this :p

Anyway, I missed a day of blogging. Reason being? I was really tired yesterday! I was out the whole day! well sampai around 6 plang saja but yes I went out yesterday. Went out for lunch with them lovely final year Bristolians. We had our lunch at this place called Oz, it is a Turkish restaurant I believe. I had Tavuk guvech (its chicken) and it was not bad :D After lunch we decided just to go jalan2 (although Azriana insisted we go to the shops directly hehe). Bristol is famous for its hills and yes I finally agree with that. The thing is the place where I am living is not situated on any hills and so I am not quite affected by the terror of walking up the hills. Di town bah tinggi brabis hill nya! It's good for the health and the posture but still. There will always be a but for exercises. :p Anyway, we went to this hill called Brandon Hill and the scenery was beautiful. Young people sun-bathing while reading their books (to prepare for exams I believe but still don't want to waste the pretty weather yesterday), old people just sitting around and some fell asleep, and people like us just walking around taking pictures not letting the moment passed without any token of remembrance.

These are some of the pictures from yesterday. I guess this would only be more appealing to those nature-lovers. It was pretty I assure you. Maybe my camera picture did not really able to capture it. I need a good camera :)

Oh that's the picture of the tower on top of Brandon Hill. We went to the top!! Hadi forced us to. So the girls with their very uncomfortable shoes went up the hill and to the top of the tower. Again, it was absolutely breathtaking.

I only get to take one picture while we were on top of the tower. It was really windy and I had trouble standing still let alone to take pictures! And my hair was all over the place. Oh which reminds me I need to ask pictures from Ihsan. hehe.

So yea that was my day. It was fun seeing them all again. While we were having our lunch, we got to talking on how this is our final year in Bristol and how sad it is to say goodbye since we've been here for three years and well, you have to admit it is sad to leave a place you called home for three years even if that means you're going back to your real home! Sigh. Ah well. Thats life.

Oh on a different note and a happier one, I got myself a new toy! And now I am going to shine all the way~ apakan. hehe. yes I finally got the LG shine. (Sher: Yes we have the same phone :) begaya usul ku memakai haha) And I'm happy :D

Bah ok peeps, I have to end it here. Take care! xx

I.am.going.insane.

Yes I am. The pressure is definitely on. I am going to blame nobody (there's no one to blame anyway) for this is my own fault for leaving things to the very last minute. I have just started writing my second essay which is due on the 9th of May. And it is not going well. I have to write on something I have least knowledge of. The Romantic Period, The French Revolution, The Napoleonic War. I spent an amount of time just reading about the French Revolution and the effect it has on the Romantic writers/authors/poets. It is not easy I tell you. By the time I finished this essay, I will be an expert on the French Revolution, and that Napoleon Bonaparte. Wish me luck everyone!! :D Oh if anyone wants to help me through this essay, you are welcome to do so. The boipren already did and thanks to him!

So besides doing the essay, I spent my day doing my laundry (Yes I finally did it! :p) and my room smells of fresh laundry. Suka ku. hehe. Do you know how much it costs me to do the laundry? I always use two washing machines, one for the whites and light-coloured garments, the other is for baju hitam. To use one washing machine costs 2.40! mahal ah. And then for the dryer, it is 20p for 3minutes. THREE MINUTES! You can do the math. It costs me a fortune to do one laundry. That is why I prefer buying new clothes than do the laundry. Not exactly the best way to save money, but atleast I can tambah my clothing collection :p

I should sleep now. It is 2.55 and I really should be sleeping. And so I will. :D taa~

Do you know the first thing that came to my mind when I woke up this morning? I give you a hint. I was hungry. I was really hungry it felt like I could eat a meal for ten. ok ok. Now that's exaggerating because I can't even finish my own meal under normal circumstances. But yea, you could see how hungry I was right. And the first thing that came to my mind that made me regret the fact that I'm not in Brunei right now is Nasi Katok. Now I'm sure all of you have heard of the existence of Nasi Katok, mun inda kamu buruk :p Anyway, yes I was thinking about Nasi Katok. When I was small, probably when I was 12 years old, I asked my parents what Nasi Katok meant. And they answered me perfectly well but it didn't provide me with full satisfaction. They said that 'Nasi Katok ani, mun ko kan bali nasi bungkus and then ko katuk saja arah rumah urang atu, seringgit tu slalu nya'. Ofcourse that was the perfect explanation for that was what it meant. But I wondered 'Jahat jua kan mengacau urang minta nasi'. haha. How naive I was. Ofcourse lah inda semua rumah! hehe. Ada kana bawa pemarang mun kan mengatuk rumah randomly asking for nasi katok. :p Anyway, yes I've grown up and I now understand perfectly what it means. And I think it is such a brilliant idea! Whoever came up with that idea should be given an award or something. Brilliant! I mean come on, who and where do you go to when you are hungry in the middle of the night or any time of the day? And you need something as cheap as $1 and makan nasi? NASI KATOK LAH!! Ada mamih plang but I think they are so over-rated. So yea, Nasi Katok in a way is a life saver! They are there whenever you need them, they can (ful)fill you, Nasi Katok is available to everyone and if you know the right places, it is nyaman!! :D

Ahh.. there you go. Now we can all despise the fact that we are here and not in Brunei. Sama2 bah tesliur :p

It's the little things that count

I wanted to write a long, meaningful entry but my brain is exhausted from writing my essay. I have officially finished one of my 4000 word essays and I am completely and undeniably exhausted, mentally as well as physically. Anyway, lets go straight to the point :D This entry is dedicated to my other half for today is our 9 month anniversary. =) I just want to thank him for all the wonderful things that he has done for me these past 9 months. He certainly managed to brighten up even my gloomiest day! *Hugs*

Happy 9 months syg! :D

It is a wonder how the word 'Thank you' can mean so much. It is certainly to me. You will be amazed to find out what this simple saying can do. It is a gesture that is appreciated by everyone, even probably your least favourite person. If a smile can brighten up someone's day, then saying Thank you is ten times better than that. So don't forget to say thank you to that stranger who holds that door open for you, or your friend who listens to you whine and never complained, or your mum simply for being her. :D These two little words can make the world a better place!

On a totally different note, I think I need to do my laundry. I am running out of clothes to wear. Well not really. Hehe. I just need to do my laundry. Brabis banyak ah. I haven't had the time to do it with all these works. Eseh brabis aku ah. :p But yea I need to go to the launderette, the sooner the better! And I need to clean my room. It is a mess. Macam kapal pacah, in my mum's words. hehe.

I am really tired and it's 2am. So the best thing to do is to sleep. Don't worry, I will be back for more! eseh. hehe. Bah i'm off to sleep~

Sundays

Sundays suck, don't you think so? Well I do. Why? Because it is the last day of the week and therefore, the next day is the beginning of a new week. And that means work. Sundays used to have a happy connotation attached to it but not anymore. Nowadays I spend my sundays thinking about the work I have to do for the following week or how far it is till the next weekend starts again. And that is not always such a pleasant thought. Oh I also think long train rides suck. Brabis.

Anyway, how did you spend your weekend? I did absolutely nothing productive over the weekend. And now I feel bad about it. Remember in my last blog entries when I told you that I have million things to do? The million things to do consist of writing up three 4000 word essays and that totalled up to 12000 words. It is like writing another dissertation but now I have three main topics and none of them are related to each other!! It is even worse!! I'm screwed. Oh oh these essays are supposed to be handed in within these two weeks. I have a week to finish 8000 words and another week for the other 4000 words. That is a looooooot of words to write! I was supposed to finish one essay last week but I was ill remember? Yatah. The next two weeks are going to be hell I tell you

Lets talk about something less frustrating. Shopping I want to get a new phone and I have my eyes on this phone but still deciding whether I should get it. We'll see. hehe. But I am open to suggestions. Any handal phones that you would like to recommend? :p Oh have I mentioned that I no longer have any more classes? No lectures and no seminars. Well technically. I do have one more seminar on tuesday but I don't think I will be going to that class. My coursemates are not going so might as well take this opportunity to be naughty and skip that class, kan? Lagi pun I don't know what we will be doing since we have covered the entire module. Probably just sitting around, talking about the essays and our plans after we graduated. My plan after I graduated is to go back to my beloved country and makan semua makanan. hehe. And ofcourse I am looking forward to become a teacher.

Bah ok, I'm going off to bed now. I plan to wake up before midday tomorrow and get on with my work. Wish me luck!!

it's not what you think

Migraine

Migraine is a type of severe headache that often affects one side of the head. It may be accompanied by nausea, vomiting or increased sensitivity to light. They are one of the most common types of headache.

Who gets migraines?

Migraines affect about 15 percent of adults. They tend to run in families, and are about twice as common in women than men. Migraines also affect around four percent of children, but they are most common in adults aged between 20 and 50.

Migraine symptoms

A severe migraine attack can cause a persistent throbbing or pounding pain, with sensitivity to light, sound and movement. The pain may be on just one side of the head, though there may be pressure on both. Attacks last between four and 72 hours. You may also feel nauseous, be sick, have diarrhoea, or feel exhausted.

Some migraines can cause other neurological (to do with the brain) symptoms - called aura. These are usually visual disturbances that start before or accompany the headache, including flashing lights, black spots, zig-zag patterns or distorted vision. You might also get a stiff neck, have tingling or stiff limbs, or have difficulty speaking.

For many, the symptoms are so severe that they are forced to lie down in a quiet dark room and wait until the migraine stops.

What causes a migraine?

Although the cause of a migraine is not fully understood, most sufferers probably have a genetic predisposition to them. About 80 percent of people who have migraine headaches have a family history of migraines.

It used to be thought that the aura and then headaches in migraines were caused by blood vessels at first contracting and then expanding (dilating) in the brain. However, recent research suggests that migraine symptoms are caused by changes in the activity of neurones (nerve cells in the brain), and that changes in blood vessels happen as a result of this. A chemical messenger in the brain - serotonin - is also thought to be involved in migraine.

In women who suffer from migraines, hormonal changes may also play a part. Some women get menstrual migraines - migraines that only happen in the days before, during, or immediately after a period. Many women have their first migraine in the same year as their first menstrual period.

Migraine triggers

Some people find that their migraines are triggered by something. Some example triggers include:

  • certain foods such as chocolate, cheese, citrus fruits, coffee, tea
  • alcohol
  • too much or too little sleep
  • changes in hormone balance in women - such as periods, the pill, menopause and hormone replacement therapy
  • emotional stress, or relaxation after a period of stress
  • irregular meals
  • physical activity
  • smoking
  • bright or flashing lights
  • loud noise
  • weather - high pressure conditions, changes in pressure, hot dry winds, change of season and exposure to sun and glare
  • intense smells such as paint, fumes from cars or perfume

Unfortunately, avoiding triggers is not always possible, and even then this may not prevent an attack - most migraines have no obvious identifiable trigger.

Migraine types

There are two main types of migraines.

Migraines without aura (common migraine)

The headache comes on quite suddenly, without any warning at all. There are the usual migraine symptoms - headache, sickness, sensitivity to light, sound and smell - but there are no aura symptoms. Movement makes the pain worse.

Migraines with aura (classic migraine)

According to the Migraine Action Association, about 1 in 10 sufferers experience aura with migraines. People who get migraines with aura sense when an attack is coming on. They may feel tired, thirsty, hungry, euphoric or excited. Nervous system symptoms - called an aura - usually develop before the migraine symptoms.

These may include:

  • visual disturbances such as seeing flashing or flickering lights, zig-zag lines and even temporary blindness
  • numbness
  • dizziness

Occasionally, symptoms can be more severe - including partial paralysis, difficulty in speaking, confusion, or fainting. Aura symptoms usually settle down within an hour. Some people get the aura without the subsequent headache.

When to see a doctor

It is possible that migraine symptoms are caused by something more serious. See a doctor if you experience any of the symptoms below.

  • Aura symptoms that are always on the same side of the body, or last less than five minutes or more than an hour.
  • Aura symptoms without a headache.
  • A sudden change in the character of your migraine such as attacks coming more often, or treatment not working.
  • Headache after you exercise.
  • Your first ever attack when you're over 50.
  • Stomach pains with the headache.
  • Nervous system problems - difficulty in walking, or disturbance of vision between attacks.
  • A high temperature with the headache.

Treatment

Over-the-counter medicines

Mild migraine attacks tend to clear up in a few hours. It's best to rest in a quiet, darkened room, and use the painkiller that you would normally take for a non-migrainous headache. Soluble versions of these painkillers may work better than tablets. Take it as soon as you can - treatments for migraine are more effective when you take them early on in an attack.

You might also find that over-the-counter preparations containing the anti-sickness drug buclizine (eg Migraleve) help reduce nausea and sickness. This means that the painkillers can be better absorbed by the body. Ask your pharmacist for more advice.

If these treatments don't help it is worth seeing your GP. You should also contact your GP if you find that your attacks suddenly change in nature, become more frequent, or if any symptoms carry on between attacks.

Prescription-only medicines

There are other treatments for migraine that your doctor can prescribe. The medicines metoclopramide and domperidone can be used to treat nausea and vomiting. They are often combined with over-the-counter painkillers.

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (eg ibuprofen or tolfenamic) are sometimes used to treat the headache, and they can also be combined with drugs which reduce sickness.

If standard painkillers don't stop the pain, your doctor may prescribe you triptans such as sumatriptan, fovatriptan or zolmitriptan. These work by correcting the serotonin imbalances in the brain. Response to triptans varies between individuals - you may need to try out different types before finding the most effective one for you.

Triptans are available as tablets, injections, nasal sprays or dissolvable wafers. They shouldn't be used by people who have had a heart attack or stroke, who have high blood pressure, or who are taking certain medications - your GP will be able to give you more information. Some people get side-effects from these drugs, such as dizziness, a feeling of pressure in the neck or chest area, nausea and vomiting.

Other treatments

Some people find that non-drug treatments help, although there's little evidence that they work. Some examples are listed below.

  • Keep a diary. It can help to try and identify, track and avoid triggers.
  • Specially tinted glasses. Evidence is lacking but some find that wearing these reduces or prevents migraine attacks.
  • Dental splints. Teeth grinding and clenching your jaw may trigger attacks. A dental splint can be worn overnight to try and reduce this.
  • Physiotherapy helps some but, again, there is little evidence.
  • Relaxation therapy. By being less stressed some find that fewer attacks are triggered.
  • Temperature change. For some, pressing an ice pack or hotwater bottle where it hurts, helps.
  • Acupuncture. Some research suggests that acupuncture may be helpful for migraines, but the evidence is not conclusive.

Recent evidence also indicates that migraines are more common in people with depression, and that depression is more common in people that suffer from migraines. Researchers are investigating whether treating depression can help relieve migraines and vice versa.

Preventive drugs

If avoiding triggers doesn't help, and you continue to get severe migraines, you may want to discuss with your doctor taking a daily preventive treatment.

These include:

  • beta-blockers, such as propanolol
  • tricyclic antidepressants, such as amitriptyline
  • some anti-convulsants, such as topiramate or valproate
  • the antihistamine pizotifen

Many women find that migraines get worse as they reach the menopause. Some find that hormone replacement therapy helps, but for others it makes it worse.

Whatever the approach, it will take some time, and support from a doctor, for each individual to find a treatment that best helps manage their migraines.

Fuuh~ that's a lot of information innit? But i believe it is vital to know about these things. A few days ago I mentioned I was sick. I had nausea, headache, diarrhoea and it wasn't good. I thought I was just sick but my temperature was normal and I don't usually have this kind of throbbing headache when I'm sick. So I convinced myself it must be something else. And then the word migraine came to mind and I decided to google it and found similarities between the symptoms I was experiencing with the symptoms stated. So I thought it must be that I was having migraine.

Some of you may ask why is this important. Some of you might say that it is just like having another headache. It is true that you will not be able to distinguish between migraine and the 'normal' headache when you have it, and in most cases, you might just choose not to care. Makan panadol saja bah, you thought. Indeed. However, it is good to know where its coming from. If it recurs, then you know what to do.

Oh ada lagi!

What is the difference between a headache and a migraine?
It is not always easy to distinguish between the two, as there may be an element of both muscle tension and a vascular component in both headaches and migraine. In many cases, migraines are more severe than headaches, and are often accompanied by visual disturbances or nausea. Normal headaches will often respond to over-the-counter medications, whereas migraine is often severe enough to require prescription medication.

Ok? I hope these informations can help you in the future. :D

Absence makes the heart grow fonder

These past few days have not been that great for me and I am not looking forward to the days to come. It was bad enough that I fell sick when I was supposed to be up and finish my work. And now I am missing home.

It could be because I was sick. I missed my mom's attentive care.

I miss my siblings too. And my little cousins. My sister just posted up new pictures on her friendster and now I miss them even more.

My beautiful sister, my youngest brother in the middle and my cute little cousin, akmal.

Mickey mouse kah baju nya atu. hehe. si kiut.

Only a few more months to go and I won't have to endure this anymore. I will only have to stand their constant naggings of 'bila ka memie blanja?'. That'll be entertaining. hehe.

Bah I should be up. I've got another class today at 4.30. I know right, ahir bah.

the must-have this summer!

For those who are still going to be in the Uk over the summer might want to invest their money on this

trust me, you will need one! :D
